NEOM is in progress in Saudi Arabia and is set to present its residents with extraordinary facilities.  There are grand plans for this megacity. It has been endorsed as one of the world’s most ambitious projects and its cost is anticipated to increase from $500 billion to a staggering $1.5 trillion.  The city is part of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's Vision 2030 project, For a post-fossil fuel future, NEOM is part of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s Vision 2030 project, which aims to revolutionise the country’s oil-dependent economy.

Interestingly, the project would host more robots than people as per the claim by CEO Nadhmi Al-Nasr in 2017. It will also have robot hotel clerks, according to Business Insider.

From "digital twins" that will copy residents' biometrics and health data, to humanoids at hotel check-in desks are part of NEOM’s high-tech plans.

Let's hope they like dust and heat like all electronic devices...
