The Saudi Ministry of Energy and NEOM company signed on Sunday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on enhancing cooperation in the energy fields, the Saudi state news agency reported.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), a memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed to enhance cooperation and devise a strategy for the sector’s modern development. The agreement includes monitoring progress and identifying areas for improvement through periodic reviews. Both parties will also offer technical and organizational solutions for the advancement of renewable energy technologies, hydrogen, and sustainability.
ENOWA’s CEO, Peter Terium, highlighted the importance of utilizing renewable energy in this industry to decrease harmful emissions regionally and globally during an interview with local media on the sidelines of the Middle East and North Africa Climate Week forum in Riyadh.
