US consultancy Parsons has revealed additional details about the scope of its work for the 170-kilometre THE LINE at NEOM in Saudi Arabia.  Parsons’ framework agreement for consultancy services on THE LINE includes project and construction management services for the design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of the project.

The consulting firm will also manage the project’s critical interfaces with adjacent NEOM projects and logistics.

"THE LINE is a civilisational revolution inspired by the dream of sustainable urban living in harmony with nature," Pierre Santoni, president for the Middle East and Africa at Parsons.

THE LINE will be a 200 metres (m) wide and 500m-tall urban development designed to address urban real estate challenges such as outdated infrastructure, pollution, traffic and human congestion.
