Abdulmohsen Alhokair Group for Tourism and Development (Alhokair Group) said it started providing catering services at a residential complex in NEOM, as per the timetable outlined in the award letter.  The company is engaged in finalizing the site preparations and appointing qualified personnel, according to a statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange.

The first batch has been received in compliance with the terms stated in the award letter.

The contract procedures are being finalized with Alpha Facilities Contracting Co., the statement said.

Alhokair Group was started in 1975 to invest in the sectors of entertainment and hospitality under the leadership of Sheikh Abdulmohsin Alhokair.  Over five decades, the group’s projects expanded to include 92 entertainment centers and 35 hotels spread in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. 

The Company operates in three segments: The Hotels segment is engaged in hotel, tourism, health resort, furnished apartments and cafes; The Entertainment segment is engaged in establishment, management, operation and maintenance of fun cities, entertainment centers, parks and gardens; and The Others segment includes the operation of head office, commercial centers and other segments. In addition, The Company is also engaged in the wholesale and retail sales in perfumes, cosmetics, and metals and gems and jewellery, photography tools, watches, and toys, among others.
