Executives at Saudi Arabia’s giga-project, NEOM, have revealed updated timelines for the multi-billion-dollar development. Some milestones are near-term and well-defined, such as TROJENA, which is set to welcome guests in two years. Others, like THE LINE, are more open-ended.

Satellite images obtained by Business Insider show a lavish palace that's been constructed as part of Saudi Arabia's $2 trillion NEOM megacity project.  The images, which feature in a new Business Insider documentary and were captured by satellite firm Maxar Technologies in January, show a large palace on the Red Sea coast in the northeast of Saudi Arabia.

In an exclusive interview with pv magazine, ACWA Power CEO Marco Arcelli said the Saudi energy giant is currently exploring opportunities to build a hydrogen corridor between Europe and the Middle East and North Africa. He spoke about the company’s current 2 GW hydrogen project in NEOM and presented the company’s plans for renewable energy and desalination.
