McLaren Racing has signed a deal with René Rast to race in the FIA Formula E World Championship from the 2022/23 season. The announcement confirms René as the first of two names to form the NEOM McLaren Formula E driver line up, as the team embarks on its debut season in the all-electric racing series.
Saudi Industrial Services Company (SISCO) has announced a project awarding to a consortium in which one of its subsidiaries participates. The subsidiary is the International Water Distribution Company (Tawzea) and it is equally owned by SISCO and the Saudi Arabian Amiantit Company.
A team from the King Abdulaziz University (KAU) has participated in a project by the Heritage Commission titled "The Survey of Underwater Cultural Heritage Sites at Red Sea from Umluj to Ras Al-Sheikh Hameed", which aims at surveying the area between Ras Al-Sheikh Hameed and the location of the shipwreck in Umluj.
