DSV and Saudi Arabia’s ‘NEOM’ special economic zone have announced a $10bn logistics joint venture (JV) to support the development of NEOM projects.  The JV will focus on providing ground, sea and air logistics services for NEOM in the coming years. Under the agreement, the joint venture will provide end-to-end supply chain management, development and investments in transport and logistics assets and infrastructure as well as transport and delivery of goods and materials within NEOM.

South Korea and Saudi Arabia will sign 51 deals and memorandums of understanding (MOU) worth a total of US$15.6 billion on the occasion of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol's state visit to the Arab country, his office said Sunday.  The agreements will be signed on Sunday and Monday during a bilateral investment forum, a ceremony marking 50 years of construction cooperation between the two countries, and following a summit meeting between Yoon and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, according to senior presidential secretary for economic affairs Choi Sang-mok.

The second edition of the annual event will take place from October 21 to November 24, with more than 800 athletes and staff members from around the world set to compete across the five sports of triathlon, beach soccer, 3×3 basketball, mountain bike racing and sport climbing.  The programme is built on innovative sporting formats with a splash of adventure. This tallies with the bold ambition of a destination branding exercise that will ultimately aim to elevate sporting reputations in the Kingdom to unprecedented heights.

The full-service Saudi production hub, which is becoming a major driver of the kingdom’s effort to build a film and TV industry almost from scratch, will be hosting courses held by The Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA), South Korea‘s top national film school.

The first wind turbines have arrived at what Saudi officials bill as the world's biggest green hydrogen plant, in the futuristic NEOM megacity, the project's CEO told AFP on Tuesday.
