Hail Municipality, in collaboration with the Tourism Development Fund, has initiated new measures to enhance tourism investment through a joint field visit to the Al-Nahayed Mountains in Tuwarin, Saudi Arabia. This initiative aims to perform a comprehensive survey to study and design an integrated tourist and entertainment park project. The project is set to be classified as a five-star destination, seamlessly connecting the region’s distinctive natural formations and environmental features.

The municipality’s recent collaboration with the Tourism Development Fund to promote tourism investment in the Al-Nahayed Mountains of Tuwarin builds on Saudi Arabia’s ambitious efforts to establish itself as a top global tourist destination. This initiative fits within a broader pattern of governmental and private sector projects designed to leverage the Kingdom’s unique natural and cultural assets while boosting economic diversification in line with Vision 2030.

The country expects to host over 30 million tourists by the end of the year, moving closer to Vision 2030’s target of 150 million annual visitors when domestic tourism is included.
