Saudi Arabia is expanding its AI efforts through Humain, a locally based company owned by the kingdom’s sovereign wealth fund. Humain plans to build up to six gigawatts of data center capacity across Saudi Arabia by 2034, partnering with companies such as Nvidia, AMD, Amazon Web Services, Qualcomm, and Cisco. This week, Humain announced a US$3 billion deal with Blackstone to develop data centers in the country.
Humain plans 6 GW by 2034, yet only a 100 MW site with power for next year is locked in. Two more builds of that size in Riyadh and Dammam target Q2 2026.

Tenders include a data center maintenance bid at the University of Hail and a disaster recovery modernization notice at Saudi Export-Import Bank (Saudi EXIM), a state-owned trade finance lender.
