THE LINE is expected to look like something straight out of a sci-fi movie.
Delugan Meissl Associate Architects (DMAA), also behind the Bonsai Museum of China, has gotten on board to help with phase one of the development. Gensler, who designed the first-ever Apple Store, and Mott MacDonald, the brains behind the London Underground, also form part of the unit shaping NEOM’s THE LINE to be the next big thing.
THE LINE is touted as a meticulously thought-out ecosystem. By collaborating with microclimate experts, ecologists, and sustainability leaders, it’s bringing nature into every facet of its existence. In doing this, every inch of the city is expected to serve a purpose, blending human needs with environmental aspects, making it a truly functional complex.
