LG Electronics Inc. said Friday it has discussed possible cooperation with Saudi Arabia to supply cooling solutions for the Middle East nation's NEOM smart city project. LG Electronics Chief Executive Officer Cho Joo-wan met with Saudi Investment Minister Khalid Al-Falih in Seoul earlier in the day to discuss providing cooling solutions for artificial intelligence (AI) data centers in the smart city under construction, the company said in a release.
LG Electronics said it aims to supply cooling solutions for AI data centers to be established in OXAGON, a part of the NEOM project.
During the meeting, the Saudi minister said his country is reforming to become an export-oriented economy, adding Riyadh will proactively support projects that boost outbound shipments.
