NEOM hotels will start opening before the end of this year. The US$500bn giga-project seldom shares opening dates for its upcoming hotels, but the Hampton by Hilton NEOM will open by Q4 of this year.

The 201-key hotel would be built over an area of 8,200 sq m, Egypt-based Sabbour Consulting will design the property. Saudi Arabia has several similar hotels designed to put up business people visiting projects as they take shape. In 2022, AlUla Development Company (UDC) spent US$45 million on a 215-key Clarion Hotel, a well-known corporate hotel brand predominant in Nordic countries.
