Siemens will integrate Mevea’s simulation technology into crane automation in the Port of NEOM, Saudi Arabia. A Finnish high-tech company Mevea announced the technology will enable 10 automated STS cranes and 30 automated eRTGs to operate at the port.

The Port of NEOM is the first operational asset in OXAGON and aims to be the world’s most technologically advanced, efficient, and sustainable port. It is undergoing an extensive development program, including a new container terminal and a marine services basin, that will accommodate the world’s largest container vessels.
