Sascha Berger has joined NEOM, a special economic zone in Saudi Arabia, as investment director for Biotech. In this role, he will shape NEOM’s global biotech and medtech investment strategy. Based in Saudi Arabia, Berger has a global remit.
“NEOM is more than just a place—it’s a bold vision for the future, designed to be a hub of innovation and sustainable living,” he said on LinkedIn. “I’m incredibly excited to be part of this mission, contributing to the advancement of human progress through strategic investments in the broader life sciences space.”
Berger will support Jordi Naval, who spearheads NEOM’s overall biotech initiatives, and collaborating with the NEOM Investment Fund (NIF), the strategic investment arm of NEOM, particularly with Babar Kahn, a passionate advocate for biotech within the NIF.
