The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) has announced on Wednesday that NEOM will host the draw ceremony for the FIFA World Cup 2034, which Saudi Arabia is set to host.  The announcement came just hours after FIFA confirmed the Kingdom's successful bid to host the prestigious tournament.

According to Saudi Arabia’s bid file for the 2034 World Cup, NEOM is a flagship development under Vision 2030. Situated in the northwest of the Kingdom on the Red Sea coast and across the Gulf of Aqaba, NEOM represents one of the most innovative development projects in the world. It comprises several key projects, interconnected by "THE LINE," a futuristic linear city.
