Joint venture NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) has announced a mass recruitment drive for its green hydrogen plant in Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabian broadcaster Al Arabiya reported. NGHC will hold a virtual job fair on April 18 and 19, aiming to attract top talent to its operations and maintenance team that will manage the world’s largest green hydrogen plant, located at NEOM’s OXAGON. NGHC aims to develop a highly-skilled Saudi workforce to manage the critical operations of what aims to become the world’s largest green hydrogen plant.

The company is also partnering with Saudi education and research institutions to upskill young people to prepare them to enter the green hydrogen and renewable energy sector.

The $8,4 billion facility, set to become the world’s largest green hydrogen production facility, is on track to reach full operation by the end of 2026. The project aims to produce up to 600 tonnes of carbon-free hydrogen per day, potentially eliminating five million tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
