In their search for sponsors for the club, the board of directors of FC Barcelona reportedly met with representatives from NEOM, a large urban project in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, in mid-July. This news was shared by Arab media, like @forcabarca_ar.

All the club's directors were present at the meeting, except for Joan Laporta, who had to cancel last minute due to personal reasons. Also in attendance was Lewandowski's representative, Pina Zahavi, who has a close relationship with the Barça leader.

The Saudi delegation declined the offer but expressed interest in bringing Barcelona's philosophy and La Masia to Saudi Arabia by opening branches. The club is open to this collaboration, and more meetings are expected to take place soon.
